Our approach
Whether you’re new to freestyles, or an experienced rider competing internationally we have the the experience to create the freestyle that you’ve always dreamed of! Our small team are experts at every part of the process - from creating the choreography, to selecting the music, and editing or composing the music to suit each horse and rider. We work with riders of all ages, levels, and ambitions. We really believe that each and every freestyle is important, and we work closely with you to ensure that we create an end result that scores well and that you love riding to!
Results to be proud of
We feel so privileged to work with some incredibly talented riders all over the world! Our clientele includes Olympians, Nations Cup Winners and U25 Champions. It’s an honor to be trusted by such gifted riders, and we’re so proud of the results that they’ve achieved with our freestyles, including:
1st in the U25 Nations Cup in Florida (February 2024), with music scores up to 8.5
Scores up to 81% from First Level right through to FEI levels
Para freestyle winners at Regional and National shows in Grades I, III, IV and V
Working with riders in the Top 8 in the World Youth Ranking U25
Freestyle winners of National Level championships in the US, the UK, New Zealand and Australia
We’ve got what it takes to win, but equally enjoy working with riders that are just starting out, or are riding freestyles purely to enjoy riding to music with their horse. Whatever your ambitions are, we’d love to help!
Meet the Team

Nicole Sweney
FOUNDER
FEI level rider Nicole Sweney founded Sweney Productions, and is responsible for designing the choreographies for clients, as well as editing music.
Nicole has a vast amount of experience, having choreographed more than 1,000 tests for riders of all levels.
She is passionate about creating a choreography that really shows off the horse and rider as a combination, to maximise the scores as well as making it enjoyable to ride. She also has a special interest in creating freestyles that tell a story and are engaging to watch.

Ashleigh Millen
COMPOSER
Ashleigh is a passionate rider and musician who has been both riding and playing the piano since the age of 5. She is a qualified musician, with an Honours degree specialising in composition!
Through her degree Ashleigh has studied a broad range of music history and genres, allowing her to compose in any style you need, as well as being able to mix genres together!
Her unique skillset means that she is able to provide you with your own magical piece of music that is composed from scratch specifically for you and your horse!

Anna Wilson
MUSIC SELECTION
Anna has a background in music, having taken music lessons for years, and gained certificates through The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. She has a fantastic theory base in music, which combined with her knowledge of dressage and broad tastes in a huge variety of different genres makes her the perfect person to source music for clients!

Amy Sage
MUSIC EDITOR
Amy is a Grand Prix level dressage rider, as well as being incredibly talented at creating freestyles. She takes care of music arrangements for our clients worldwide alongside Nicole, and we’re thrilled to be able to add her skillsets to our team so that we can continue to produce freestyles that are better than ever!

My freestyle in action
I had so much fun creating my FEI Int A/B musical using the 'Rango’ Soundtrack! It’s quite unusual music, but really suits my trakehner gelding Tiggy, and has great highlights to show off each and every movement! The key to a good freestyle is story-telling, and this soundtrack is really able to tell a story, filled with highs and lows, as well as creating drama and providing entertainment.
